About the Foundation
Strategic Management Support Office
The Strategic Management Support Office establishes management strategies and manages the execution of said strategies through cooperation with other departments and provides overall assistance to other departments to ensure smooth level of operation is achieved.
Establishment and Execution of Business Strategy
- Establishment of the foundation’s management goals and management strategy
- Setting and monitoring missions and tasks in order to achieve management goals
- Improving the organizational culture and promoting innovation in business processes
Staff Management
- evaluation of performances and promotions
- Managing job-related training, legal training, and operating study groups
- Employee consultation services
- Managing reports on concurrent positions and outside activities
Purchasing, Expenditure, and Accounting
- Managing the overall finance and accounting for the foundation
- Purchasing goods used by the foundation, and managing the assets
- Paying various expenditures such as corporate tax and business expenses
Managing the Foundation’s Regulations
- Operation and management of the Board of Directors, and Steering Committee, amongst other groups
- Managing the labor-management consultation council, collective agreement, wage agreement, and etc.
Provision of Administrative Services
- Managing the foundation seal, and issuing certificates
- Managing employee benefits such as gifts, tributes, and health checkups
- Managing wages, allowances, severance pays, and the four major insurances, amongst other things
Managing Facilities and Buildings of the Foundation
- Maintenance of facilities within the complex
- Local research group
- Managing the safety of the employees of the foundation and the tenant companies
- Managing rents and utility fees of the tenant companies, and others
