Thank you for visiting the Gyeongbuk Technopark(GBTP) website.
My name is Jae-Hoon RHEE, CEO of GBTP.
Gyeongbuk Technopark was established in August1998 as one of six leading exemplary technoparks, and has served an important role in Gyeongbuk’s development. Gyeongbuk Technopark has made great contributions to balanced regional development in the province, specifically serving as a hub of growth and support for small and medium enterprises. The technopark's work has continuously strengthened Gyeongbuk’s competitiveness as a developing province.
Gyeongbuk Technopark has set its new mission as follows: “We will contribute to the industrial development of Gyeongbuk province and Korea through our passion and first class business-support platforms.” Therefore we are devoting all of our efforts to accomplishing this mission. We will accomplish this mission by continuing to passionately and professionally collaborate with members to become the central institution for corporate support. In particular, we are focused on the exploration and planning of new growth engines for Gyeongsangbuk-do. This expansion is in addition to our current R&D, corporate support services, and startup support, and is led by the motto, “Corporate Happiness and Leadership in the Creative Economy.”
In 2016 we will continue to concentrate on balanced growth and securing new growth engines for the Gyeongsangbuk-do region. We aim to contribute to the expansion of the creative economy through the creation of new manufacturing industries and focusing our efforts into structural reform and advancing business operations.
With support for companies as our foremost goal in order to create a Gyeongbuk that is an ideal place for business owners to flourish, we will actively support companies in the region to cooperate with the region’s universities and research institutions.
We encourage you to watch the hard work and passion shown by Gyeongbuk Technopark’s members. Moreover, we would like to ask for your suggestions, interest, and support. Most of all, we ask for your active participation.
